Job Description:

Our team are experts in a range of different farming areas, including precision farming services, marketing livestock and wool, agricultural services, water solutions, finance, insurance, merchandise and real estate. 

We are now seeking an exceptional Head of Taxation - Australia to lead our tax function, shape tax strategy, and influence decision-making across a complex, dynamic business that spans multiple industries and regions. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role covering a period of parental leave.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Tax, Compliance & Reporting (North America & Australia), this role is responsible for delivering the full suite of tax compliance, tax accounting, and advisory services across Nutrien's Australian operations, with oversight extending to New Zealand.

You'll be a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders globally and locally — providing insights on tax legislation, shaping tax planning strategies, and ensuring governance across all tax-related activities. This role also plays a key part in global tax transformation, systems improvement, and continuous process enhancement within Nutrien's global Tax Centre of Excellence.
