We’re currently offering an exciting opportunity for a casual sales merchandise to join our Richmond branch to help support our businesses customers.

About the role:
 

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst: 

• Telephone and Reception Enquiries
• Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
• Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
• Processing counter sales
• Inventory control
• General Administrative Processes
• Maintaining safety processes
• Receival and dispatch of goods
• Maintaining safety processes

What we’ll love about you:
• Driver’s license is required and a forklift ticket is advantageous
• Experience working within a sales environment 
• Effective written and verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
• Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
