There are more trade and technical positions open now, than skilled talent to fill them. However, what is often a recruitment struggle for employers is an advantage for skilled candidates. What does that mean for you? Employers want to keep their current skilled trade talent and are finding ways to creatively recruit and keep employees.

Employers may expand their total rewards package for skilled talent to include:

  • Increased wages to meet demand
  • Tuition Reimbursement/Scholarships/Apprenticeship Programs
  • Flexible Work Hours
  • Career Development Plans – Career Paths
  • Employee Referral Bonuses
