National FFA Organization Partnership: Launch Partner Opportunity

AgCareers.com has collaborated with the National FFA Organization to offer valuable career tools and resources through the Agricultural Career Network (AgCN). Employers and universities can become AgCN Launch Partners now!

AgCN is a nationwide system designed to help FFA members and alumni document their educational achievements, create robust portfolios, and pursue award, scholarship, and internship and employment opportunities.

The partnership with AgCareers.com will allow members to search for career opportunities within their particular field of study or within a selected geographic area. The partnership will continue to provide members with career opportunities throughout their postsecondary educations as they pursue internship and career options.

AgCareers.com will provide real-time access to career opportunities for the online information-based AgCN system. The platform will also be used in classrooms nationwide to educate students about careers in the industry.

Employers are invited to become Launch Partners. There are a limited number of partnerships available. For partners’ contribution, they will receive:

• Company booth at the Collegiate Job Fair during the FFA national convention October 24-27, 2012 in Indianapolis
• Company listing and mention as part of the AgCN launch at the convention (including main stage, workshops and Pathways to Prosperity breakfast)
• Exclusive access to the first Ag Education student career pathway data
• Exclusive job and internship postings to collegiate-aged and alumni participants in AgCN (approx. 30,000 & growing)
• Visibility and ‘career coaching’ opportunities with the FFA students as part of the Career Assessment and Exploration in AgCN
• Company listing and link on the FFA AgCN home page
• Company listing in the National FFA Foundation annual report
• Company listing and mention through media launch campaign
• Exposure and recognition of support on AgCareers.com as the AgCN is discussed to the AgCareers.com community
