We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager that is detail oriented as well as a strategic thinker with skills to be the point of contact for the organization. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with all levels of management and all members within the organization to establish supply needs, and deadlines to ensure systems are built in a timely manner.

 

This role will report directly to the Senior VP Operations at our Phoenix headquarters.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •  Create and implement strategies to improve efficiency and speed in the supply chain.
  •  Analyze data to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the supply chain.
  •  Ensure proper and accurate inventory levels on hand and in use at all times.
  •  Build & foster trusted partner relationships. Lead communications and negotiations with suppliers.
  •  Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Finance and other functions to ensure smooth & informed business operations.
  •  Monitor Performance by evaluating and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency of supply chain processes.
  •  Provide internal communication to stakeholders weekly to ensure transparency with incoming orders, timing and other pertinent details. Keep all informed.
  •  Serve as a Player / Coach to ensure high productivity in the department. Lead team meetings and 1:1 session to ensure alignment and skill building.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, business or equivalent.
  •  Minimum 5 years of recent supply chain management experience.
  •  Minimum of 3 years recent experience in manufacturing or operations
  •  Demonstrated critical thinking and big picture perspective to resolve challenges.
  •  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills.
  •  Ability to effectively lead teams.
  •  Self-motivated, well organized, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  •  Demonstrate a high sense of urgency in fulfilling responsibilities.
  •  Possess good judgement and ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  •  Must have a valid Driver License and a five-year clean driving record.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office software products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  •  Able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of position.
