Shape Position Summary:

This role is for an experienced engineer responsible for supporting and improving the design, integration, and performance of automated systems at MyLand. The Project Engineer will apply expertise in mechanical systems, instrumentation, and software integration to enhance system performance and reliability.The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and lead engineering projects from concept to implementation and ensure proper technical documentation is well built and maintained. 

Shape Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience (minimum 5+ years) in industrial automation or systems integration. Demonstrated expertise in reading and designing.  

Shape Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in agricultural or biological systems.Knowledge of environmental sensors, fluid handling, or water systems. Familiarity with Python, SQL, or light scripting for automation or data reporting (not core to the role).Ignition Certification (or significant experience with Ignition SCADA platforms). Proficiency in PLC programming Experience with networking hardware, including firewall configuration, VPNs, and VLANs.CAD or 2D mechanical drawing experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
