Field Technician – Domestic with Potential for Global Opportunities

About the Role: We are expanding our US team and are seeking two Field Technicians to support our growing client base. These roles involve extensive travel to focus on installations, maintenance and the training of new operators for the MEQ range of products.

We are currently hiring for two specific profiles:

• Bilingual Field Technician: Spanish language proficiency is a must.
• Field Technician: Spanish language proficiency is desirable (a strong plus).

Key Responsibilities

• Ongoing Client Support: Provide exceptional support, ensuring clients can effectively use and maintain our technology.
• Training & Onboarding: Facilitate the training of new operators, ensuring they are well-versed in the operation and maintenance of our systems.
• Installation & Maintenance: Oversee the installation, updating, and maintenance of client equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Utilize advanced technology to collect and analyze data, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials, making sure they are current and accessible.
• Travel: Travel 60–70% of the time. Remaining time (30–40%) is spent on remote monitoring and other technical tasks.

Physical Demands & Requirements

• Environmental: Work in varying temperature conditions, from hot to cold, including outdoors at feed yards.
• Physical: Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Travel: Ability to travel 80–100% of the work week, including frequent overnight stays.
• Credentials: Must hold a valid Driver’s License and a passport (or the ability to obtain one).

About You

• Technical Skills: Technically inclined with experience in mechanical or field technician roles preferred.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to train others and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the red meat or agricultural industries is a significant advantage.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Language Requirements:
  • For Position 1: Native or professional fluency in Spanish is required.
  • For Position 2: Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable but not required.
