Warehouse Supervisor.
Grand Falls, NB.

About the role.
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the shipping and receiving activities following the schedule as set in the Transportation Management System (TMS). Also, work in collaboration with the Shipper to organize the loading docks in a manner to ensure a safe and productive environment. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate eagerness to grow within the department and meet requirements for progressive leadership roles.
What you’ll be doing.
Manage the efficient loading of transport trucks.
Manage the inventory control system within WMS.
Be able to utilize WMS to include daily productivity / inventory counts and to research product history and or product movements within the cold storage.
Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily basis
(shift efficiency report) that will include loading productivity and inventory levels.
Ensures the training of employees, setting of performance goals, organization of work, and maintenance of a productive and motivational climate.
Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards.
Maintain formal and informal communications in order to respond to the needs of the individual and the business.
Interface with other staff members to support safety, production and quality.
Follow a rotating shift with his/her employees, but may be required to attend meetings and trainings outside the shift schedule.
Proactively fostering and promoting the safe work habits of employees. Ensure proper safety policies and procedures are followed. Active participation in Health & Safety initiatives, taking a lead role in safety optimization in the drive towards zero incidents.
Oversee performance management system for production employees including Performance plans and coaching and progressive discipline as required.
What you’ll need to be successful.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, relevant experience will also be considered
Must have good computer skills; be able to work in SAP and WMS environment (Warehouse Management System) and update shipments in TMS and able to work with MS office.
Must have strong organizational skills
Must demonstrate leadership skills and be willing to progress in a leadership role.
Ability to work well with people both internal and external
Must be highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
Team player with excellent attendance.

Compensation Package: $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
