Job Description:
About the role.
Reporting to the Dessert Shift Manager has responsibility for ensuring a high standard of sanitation and good manufacturing practices within the sanitation program at the factory. Responsible for the coordination and follow through of the Pest Control Program, chemical inventory and usage as well as a variety of day-to-day functions. This role is a Temporary Sanitation Supervisor Role and the duration should be up to 6 months.
What you will be doing.
Provide direction for sanitation related issues within the QCDSME framework.
Maintain and support the plant sanitation & PCO programs by supervising and providing direction to the employees during sanitation, PCO, and maintaining AIB Gold standards.
Supervise and provide direction to the employees during weekly sanitation tasks and place chemical orders as needed.
Coach and mentor the sanitation employees so that they may be prepared to handle the day-to-day basic functions within sanitation.
Daily inspection of the condition of the food processing equipment and facility
Enforce good working habits and GMP’s in the factory
Part of the plant HACCP team and involved directly in all plant audits
Help support/coordinate all clean ups, audits, pre-op checks & swabbing activities in the factory
Monitor usage and regularly order sanitation supplies
Manage sanitation budgets
Maintain and monitor the SM&V
Monitor CIP trends
What you'll need to be successful.
Strong communications skills, ability to work in a team environment in a leading and participating role.
Clear understanding of the sanitation processes as well as PCO
Self-motivated individual capable of leading new initiatives with little direct supervision
Supervise, coach & provide directions to the employees in the sanitation department
Minimum 1 year experience in a production environment, at a supervisory level.
Ability to promote teamwork and good GMP practices throughout the factory

Compensation Package: $65,700 - $87,400 CAD annually + bonus eligibility + Long Term Incentive eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
