The Sr. Manager of Global Agronomy is responsible for supporting the implementation of McCain’s Global Agronomy Strategy and roadmap in collaboration with Regional Agriculture Leaders, Agronomy SMEs, and Global Ag team members.
The Sr. Manager works closely with the regions to support the execution of their agronomy innovation and capability plans and to identify and transfer appropriate solutions based on the evaluation of their agronomy challenges and capability required to deliver the strategy.
Working closely with the Sr. Director of Global Agronomy & Sustainability, and partnering with Global and Regional Agriculture teams, the Sr. Manager will play a vital role in deploying innovative agronomy solutions, supporting the development and analysis of global agronomy metrics, and using data to identify opportunities to improve agronomic practices and develop climate adaptation plans.
Through the deployment of agronomy innovation and plans to drive continuous improvement of crop yield and quality, in partnership with Regional Agriculture teams, the Sr. Manager of Global Agronomy will support the transformation of potato farming to regenerative agriculture practices, and drive competitive advantage for McCain. The Sr. Manager will also lead Agronomy capability-building initiatives to continuously improve our Agronomy skillsets within McCain and futureproof the business.
The Sr. Manager of Global Agronomy also acts as the safety coordinator within Global Agriculture and the regions, enabling safety knowledge transfer, promoting safety policies and procedures, and chairing the Global Agriculture Safety Committee.

- Master's in Agronomy Science
- 5+ years of potato agronomy experience / applied science
- Professional Agronomist Qualification

- Experimental Design Experience
- Digital Literacy - Python, Programming, Coding
- International Agronomy Experience
