About the role.

McCain Foods is accepting applications for a Shaker Room Attendant, to work a 12-hour day shift at the Burley, Idaho plant. The Shaker Room Attendant is responsible for monitoring the size and quality of product after freezing and the temperature of freezer tunnels. Also responsible for controlling the distribution of product line flow to the packaging deck.

What you’ll be doing.

• Monitors freezer tunnel speed and temperature
• Monitors quality of product (including size) in line flow and in cribs.
• Calculates, charts, and documents required data.
• Monitors crib add back to line flow.
• Sets up and monitors shakers, belts, and tunnel fans.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and area.
• Relieves packaging employees as required.
• Communicates problems or changes in production to supervision and other appropriate personnel.
• Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process to insure a quality operation.
• Promotes and adheres to company safety regulations.
• Monitors and maintains desired blend of product line flow to packaging deck.
• Helps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company.
• May be required to participate in a continuous improvement process, such as an Employee Involvement Team.
   

What you’ll need to be successful.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation Package:  - Starting at 19.96 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
