About the Job

Sanitation Technicians maintain a spotless, safe, and food-safe factory environment. Under the guidance of the Sanitation Leadworker and Supervisor, this role involves the use of Ecolab cleaning agents, specialized tools, and industrial equipment to ensure all equipment and facility areas meet or exceed food safety and quality (FSQ) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean factory infrastructure and equipment using industrial chemicals and power washers. Operate safely in hot, cold, humid, and confined environments, including elevated areas using ladders or aerial lifts. Complete documentation accurately, follow sanitation and safety procedures, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Be available for all factory shutdowns, including night shifts. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work all factory shutdowns, including night shifts as needed.
• Requires forklift certification and ability to operate aerial lift equipment.
• Must complete training in chemical safety, advanced cleaning techniques, and sanitation best practices.
• Must be able to accurately complete cleaning documentation and logs.

Skills:

• Requires mental focus, initiative, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 40 pounds or more.
• Work in high elevations and confined or temperature-extreme environments.
• Handle and apply strong industrial cleaning chemicals safely.
• Maintain constant visual alertness to ensure both product and personal safety.
• Demonstrate physical strength and resilience in heavy-duty cleaning tasks.
