About the role.
What you’ll be doing.
The Sanitation Operator is responsible to inspect, train and follow the American Dairy Association and the United States Department of Agriculture guidelines, the American Institute of Baking regulations, the Food and Drug Administration regulations and company policies. Responsible for sanitizing assigned equipment according to FDA and USDA regulations, quality specifications and company policies.
The ideal candidate for a role in sanitation is hard working, dependable, and adaptable to working with various chemical processes to ensure machines are at their optimal cleanliness. A strong candidate for this role will also be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. This role works PM Shift (6PM-6AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule.
What you’ll need to be successful.
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 3 months of experience working with chemical safety practices in a manufacturing setting, food manufacturing preferred
Certifications in forklift, high lift, and articulated (boom) lift preferred or ability to obtain certifications required
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to bend often and lift at least 50 pounds to various heights
Ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (walkie-rider, forklift, etc.)

Compensation Package: $27.89 USD hourly + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
Shift Differential Pay: $2.00 USD hourly
