Hourly Rate: $20.47 to start. (pay goes to $22.75 after probationary period)


About the role.

The QA Grader is responsible for inspecting processed products by testing and supplying the data to appropriate personnel. Prior experience as a Quality Assurance Grader in a manufacturing facility is a plus. This is a rotating 12 hour shift on NIGHTS. 


Accountabilities:  

  • Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high stress environment where multi-tasking is required.
  • Collects samples and conducts various tests on raw, processed and finished prod-ucts to ensure they meet company quality specifications.
  • Measures and records quality attributes of tested product.
  • Monitors the time and temperature of processing machinery.
  • Calibrate and set up lab equipment, perform new testing techniques and proce-dures.
  • Measures the SAPP/Citric Acid concentration in SAPP/Citric Acid addition systems.
  • May be required to adjust amount of sugar solution released into line equipment to control the color of the product.
  • Enters data into the computer system.
     


Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.


Skills:

Must successfully complete the QA Grader certification.

Compensation Package:  - Starting at 20.47 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts

 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
