About the role. 
Join the Digital Growth team at McCain to digitally transform McCain’s Sales execution processes. We need a candidate to partner with our Global Sales team to vision and deliver a renewed digitized sales playbook with the right mix of in-person and virtual sales execution. You will be customer obsessed and understand how digital and data can be leveraged to intelligently target, grow and retain customers. In line with our ambition to scale value from McCain’s strategic platforms you will extend the usage and adoption of our strategic platforms (Salesforce and SAP) and uncover new solutions to deliver value across all our sales channels. Experience leading digital transformation programs in an FMCG environment and knowledge of selling to retail and food service operators will be highly regarded.

  

What you’ll be doing. 
 
 

Core Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Digital Growth you will

  • Partner with global and regional Sales leaders of McCain to Co-create a 2–3-year vision & roadmap to digitally transform Sales processes across the McCain global organization.

  • Lead and direct Technology teams to support execution of the prioritized of initiatives

  • Establish KPIs and measures to track the progress and report the deliverables of technology initiatives.

  • Continually improve customer data quality & enrichment to enable prioritization of sales and service initiatives

  • Digitize to simplify commercial processes and embed data-led decision making and insights to enable continual improvement.   

  • Continue the vision of making Salesforce the single source of truth for customer information and orchestrator of digital business processes for Sales teams

  • Look to replace any legacy solutions with global best practice and platforms.

  • Infuse knowledge of technology trends and competitor activity into decision making

  • Work closely with the Global Product Owner for Digital Marketing, Trade and Pricing and McCain’s Commercial leaders to maximize growth through connected marketing, trade and sales processes.

 

Technology Delivery

  • Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.

  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements

  • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.

  • Participates in the development process with the development team and external partners to deliver product changes.

  • Work closely with Data and Analytics teams to deliver Ai and data-led solutions.

  • Prioritizes and maintains the backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.

  • Partners with product stakeholders to define the user experience

  • Identifies change management impacts to end-user community and collaborates with respective stakeholders to manage/mitigate

  • Ensures data & Insights are available to create actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.

  • Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

  • Understands Product roadmap risks, issues, and blockers actively assists with issue resolution

 

Elevation

  • Inspire, educate, and support product stakeholders in the regional markets to embrace and lead initiatives that will elevate their team’s Sales performance and expand the technical capabilities of all product users.

 

Guardianship

  • Act as the "guardian of the global process & solutions" to ensure that McCain maintains global standardization unless deviation is required for specific market conditions, and this is agreed by the appropriate business sponsors

  • Act as the guardian of the user experience to facilitate product adoption, on-boarding and process efficiency

 

Engagement

  • Establish and execute a strong engagement plan with Global, Regional commercial and technical and product stakeholders

 

Capability

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors to ensure products are embedded with an appropriate network of support for user onboarding and capability.

  • Support the development of training programs & material, to sustain product capability.

 

Innovation

  • Proactively Explore industry trends and advancements in technology to identify new and leading solutions that will significantly impact the achievement of the business objectives and move McCain ahead of the competition. 

 

Data-driven Organization

  • Identify opportunities within the business to improve or provide data & insights to enhance decisions or facilitate agility.

  • Strong vision for sales execution

  • Widespread adoption of sales execution processes that deliver ROI on sales team and competitive advantage for McCain

  • The product owner has a deep knowledge of the product, the market, and customers.

  • Ability to easily context-switch for both strategic and tactical activities

  • Excellent engagement, prioritization and collaboration skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communication platforms to ensure success of projects

  • Strong Influencing & Presentation Skills:

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Management: Ability to work with all levels within the organization including SLT

 

What you’ll need to be successful. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Engineering/Science/Technology 

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience in Sales leadership or enablement (i.e. Trade Management, Pricing, sales planning & selling execution) 

  • Knowledge of SAP / Salesforce solutions

  • Experience in leading projects preferably in a global environment. 

  • Experience working within an agile project delivery framework

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across levels and functions internally and with third parties.

  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs

Compensation Package: $102,700.00 - $137,000.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility

  

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
