We are currently looking for a Operations Technology (OT) Specialist II to join our growing team of OT professionals.

 

Accountabilities:

  • As a member of our high-functioning team you will be responsible for collaborating with many internal and external partners to design, implement, secure, optimize, maintain and support the OT infrastructures and solutions across 33+ plants globally. Your assignments will be varied with plenty of opportunities for cross training and learning.
  • working knowledge of cyber security concepts, practices and frameworks capacity, contention, resource, and application

deficiencies on both on-prem and cloud systems

  • As a primarily Rockwell Automation shop, we are looking for candidates that have experience with Rockwell solutions including FactoryTalk View SE, FactoryTalk Asset Centre, FactoryTalk Historian, Logix 5000 etc.
  • You will provide technical and architectural leadership, strategy guidance, gather business requirements, translate requirements into designs while following McCain standards. You will help define standards where none exist.
  • At times you may be asked to lead / manage projects, create and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and user manuals to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing.

•    post-secondary degree in Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering, ICS, Controls Engineering or a related field.

•   7-10 years working in ICS/OT delivering solutions in a process environment
•    a history of delivering OT / ICS solutions both small and large
•    cyber security experience in the areas of asset management, threat detection and vulnerability management in an ICS/OT environment
•    an understanding of networking concepts including segmentation, VLANs, switching, routing, firewalls, ICS protocols, etc.
•    experience with Claroty SRA
•    a working knowledge of SQL server and related tools
•    experience planning, installing, and managing compute infrastructure including server hardware, Windows Server OS, Hyper-V, Hyper Converged Infrastructure
•    experience planning, deploying and managing industrial data centers
•    experience managing AD domains, group policy, EDR solutions, etc.
•    knowledge of cloud computing
•    the ability to troubleshoot PLC code
•    the ability to configure, manage and troubleshoot redundant FactoryTalk View SE applications
•    proficient in Microsoft Office
•    experience with ITIL incident, change, problem, and release management practices 
•    ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams
•    ability to work both independently and in teams
•    ability to build consensus across teams
•    time management skills that allow them to manage multiple priorities
•    familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
•    strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
•    excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present complex information clearly to both technical staff and management

•    ability to work in an office environment and occasionally travel to operational sites as needed.

Compensation Package: $85,500.00 - $114,000.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility 

 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
