About the Job

Ensure the efficient operation of assigned packaging lines under normal supervision. Responsibilities include equipment setup and adjustment, product quality checks, case handling, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and adhere to safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Set up and adjust packaging line equipment from feed conveyor through palletizing. Perform product changeovers as directed. Inspect and test quality attributes, monitor line flow, and maintain scale accuracy. Calibrate scales weekly and manage minor maintenance of coupon machines. Supply and operate case-erecting and sealing equipment, maintain packaging flow and supplies, and prevent product contamination. Complete reports accurately and communicate quality or production issues promptly. Participate in plant cleanups and uphold sanitation procedures and good manufacturing practices. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires mental and manual skill, initiative, and independence.
• Requires visual alertness and exposure to loud noise.
• Must be able to obtain and sustain a forklift certification.
• Requires constant care to avoid moderate product loss and considerable care to avoid major injury to self or others.
