Position Duties and Responsibilities 

• Performs all assignments in accordance with established food safety and quality policies, including USDA, FDA, WDA, and SQF guidelines to ensure food safety 

• Ensures production line and all related machinery operate efficiently and effectively each day 

• Maintains attention to all aspects of duties that impact food quality and safety 

• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times 

• Reports any concerns related to food quality or safety to immediate supervisor 

• Starts up, shuts down, and adjusts settings on production lines and related equipment 

• Ensures ingredients are delivered to the line and finished products are transferred to the freezer in a timely manner 

• Oversees product quality throughout the line, monitors QA paperwork, and ensures proper product appearance 

• Works with line employees to maintain product within specifications 

• Troubleshoots and addresses equipment malfunctions 

• Completes any and all other duties as directed by a Supervisor, within safe working conditions 

Competencies / Qualifications / Education / Experience 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

• Strong attention to detail and good mechanical aptitude 

• Able to complete documentation and paperwork accurately 

• Basic understanding of mathematics and its practical applications 

• Forklift certified (optional)

• Standing for extended periods 

• Frequent reaching above the shoulder 

• Frequent twisting, turning, and bending 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 

• Willingness to arrive early or stay late as needed
