Job Description :
At McCain, we believe in meaningful technology – using digital technology not just for innovation, but to make a difference globally. Join a team where innovation drives purpose and technology shapes the future. This is your chance to develop sought-after expertise, work on exciting, high-impact projects, and create solutions that truly make a difference. If you're ready to push boundaries, tackle purposeful challenges, and build a career that matters, we want you on our team. As we embark on a strategic digital transformation journey, the role of Global Director of Business Reporting will be pivotal.
About the Role.
As McCain continues its EDGE Digital Transformation journey with flagship initiatives such as SAP S/4HANA, Blue Yonder, shared services, and advanced analytics, our ability to deliver trustworthy, harmonized, and meaningful business reporting is critical for decision-making and operational excellence. We seek a leader who can orchestrate the reporting processes and align delivery teams and business stakeholders, driving the adoption of certified data products across the enterprise.
The Global Director of Business Reporting will own McCain’s enterprise reporting strategy and certification framework, ensuring that reporting outputs—developed in partnership with DT Data & Analytics and business leaders—are accurate, consistent, and aligned with business priorities. This role will work in close collaboration with the Director of Data Governance as well as the functional product owners.
What you'll be doing.
Strategy & Governance
- Define and evolve McCain’s global business reporting strategy, collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders, DT Data & Analytics, and the Data Governance department.
- Develop and implement a reporting certification and quality assurance framework that integrates with existing data governance principles. - Lead the development of enterprise KPI and reporting standards in partnership with business and technical teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the primary contact for coordinating reporting requests and priorities across various business domains and DT DAIA delivery teams.
- Facilitate alignment workshops and ensure clear intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning for reporting initiatives.
- Serve as the bridge between business process owners and the DAIA Analytics team, validating the business relevance, quality, and governance alignment of reporting products.
Reporting Quality & Certification
- While the Global Data Governance Director owns data definitions, certification of master/reference data, the Global Director of Business Reporting will own the certification of reports derived from these data.
- Oversee the review and certification of reporting products, ensuring adherence to defined standards for accuracy, completeness, and business meaning.
- Ensure reporting solutions leverage harmonized master and reference data, supporting scalable analytics and intelligibility across the organization.
Collaboration with Data Governance
- Work closely with the Director of Data Governance, ensuring that reporting and data governance objectives complement one another.
- Participate in ongoing review sessions to align policies, standards, and issue-resolution frameworks between reporting and data governance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Adoption
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives to support the rollout, training, and sustained adoption of certified reporting products.
- Monitor usage, receive feedback, and drive continuous improvement and rationalization of reporting assets.
