About the role. 

What you’ll be doing.

The General Laborer is responsible for removing materials and defects from our production lines and packed boxes with finished goods. This role is considered entry-level and allows you to grow with a global organization! 
 

The ideal candidate for a role in production is hard-working, dependable, and adaptable to working on various production lines. It is imperative that candidates are coachable as we are willing to train the right fit. A strong candidate for this role will also be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. This role works on 3rd Shift (10PM-6AM Monday-Friday). Shift differential offered.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES THAT YOU WORK WITH JALEPENO PEPPERS FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR SHIFT. Work may consist of removing seeds from peppers, placing peppers to be filled, quality control, etc.  
 

What you’ll need to be successful.  

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working in manufacturing is preferred, food manufacturing strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently and with others

• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

• Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

• Ability to bend often and lift at least 50 pounds to various heights

• Ability to work with jalepeno peppers for duration of shift

Compensation Package: $22.12 USD hourly + bonus eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.

Shift Differential Pay: $2.00 USD hourly
