About the role. 
  

What you’ll be doing.

The Forming Machine Operator is responsible to operate and maintain one or more of the following pieces of equipment – Koppens/APS/Extruder/NEX-GEM.  Forming Machine Operators must operate equipment in a safe manner, while maintaining quality specifications and production standards set by each line. 

A strong candidate for this role will also be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. This role works PM Shift (6PM-6AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule.

What you’ll need to be successful. 

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing is preferred, food manufacturing strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently and with others

• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

• Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

• Ability to successfully work with various technologies and computer programs

• Ability to bend often and lift at least 50 pounds to various heights

• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (walkie-rider, forklift, etc.)

Compensation Package: $27.89 USD hourly + bonus eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.

Shift Differential Pay: $2.00 USD hourly
