Job Description :


We are seeking a skilled Entra ID Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and a strong focus on implementing and managing Conditional Access Policies (CAPS). This role will be part of McCain Identity and Access Management and is critical in ensuring secure and efficient access to our organization's resources. Although focused on Entra ID, experience with other IAM technologies like IGA and PAM would be very beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) solutions with a focus on Conditional Access Policies (CAPS).
  • 5+ years of experience in managing Entra ID (Azure AD) solutions.
  • Design, develop and maintain CAPS to ensure secure and compliant access to resources.
  • Deep technical knowledge of MS Active directory and Azure AD / Entra ID.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Entra ID with various applications and services.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the integrity and security of Entra ID configurations and CAPS.
  • Develop and maintain Entra ID architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Continuously monitor security events and access patterns to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Entra ID and CAPS.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and updates in Microsoft Entra ID, CAPS, and related technologies.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on Entra ID functionalities and best practices.
  • Develop technical documentation and guidelines for CAPS implementation and management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access Policies and any other IAM tools like SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust.
  • Experience with security protocols such as LDAP-S, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and OIDC.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and its role-based access control system.
    • Proficiency in designing and implementing Conditional Access Policies.
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other Microsoft 365 services and their integration with Entra ID.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and their application in Conditional Access Policies

Compensation Package: $81,600.00 - $108,900.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility 

 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
