Job Description:
 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Successful candidate will maintain & troubleshoot & Calibrate automated valving, both digital and analogue, pressure, level, and flow transmitters.

• Perform TQC checks and update documentation for audit purposes.

• Will provide expertise on special projects involving systems within their level of skills.

• Responsibilities also include implementing new improvements and projects related to instrumentation field. 

• Day position, but from time to time may be required to come in and assist in repairs apart from regular hours.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Requirements: 

• Proven skills in Instrumentation Field.

• Problem solving and troubleshooting instrumentation issues along with identifying reliability and optimization opportunities.

• Completing assigned tasks in a timely, safe and accurate manner, overcoming barriers and engaging others when required.

• Strong computer skills; MS Office, Windows, Calibration Software.

• Experience with FTV SCADA would be an asset.

• Experience with process control systems within a food-processing environment is an asset.

• Candidate must be a self-starter, able to work in a team atmosphere as a leader or team member.

• Strong problem solving competencies with troubleshooting experience in their field.

• Must have either Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma / CET Certification or Journeyman Instrument Mechanic.
