Job Description:

Position Title: Fryer Operator

Schedule: 7pm – 7am

Salary:  $23.19 per hour, plus $2.00shift differential

Position Summary:

As the Fryer Operator, you will start, operate, and stop all line machinery that blanches, dries, fries, and freezes potato products.  You will keeps legible and accurate production reports.  You will conduct product tests to ensure quality and input selected data into Infinity database.

Key Responsibilities: 
 

1.Adjusts blancher temperature and water depth as needed.

2.Adjusts dryer temperature as needed.

3.Adjusts fryer temperature and oil depth as required to meet customer attributes. 

4.Cleans all equipment on assigned fryer and conducts daily and scheduled downtime sanitation.

5. Keeps production supervisors aware of all conditions effecting finished product.   

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training
• Computer and mathematical skills. 
• Have or be able to obtain Forklift Certification.   

Physical Demand:

Constant: Stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

Frequently: Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.  Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Occasionally: Sit, climb or balance, taste and smell.
