Position Summary:

As the Cutter Deck Operator, you will start, stop, and run various cutting devices to make quality-finished product.  Conducts tests to ensure minimal waste while achieving quality grade product.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Adjusts sliver removers as needed.  

2.Adjusts water usage to run as efficiently as possible.

3.Checks cutter blades and change out as needed.

4.Enters applicable data in SPC to be reviewed by plant management.

5.Makes adjustments to the line as needed based on data received from the welliver camera system.   

6.Responsible for daily and downtime sanitation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training
• Have knowledge of or be capable of learning touch screen computer systems and Infinity Database software.
• Language and mathematical skills. 

Physical Demand:

Constant: Stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

Frequently: Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.  Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. 

Occasionally: Sit, climb or balance, taste and smell.
