Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI (Plover Fry Facility)

Shift: Days 4am-Noon Mon-Fri

About the role
McCain Foods is accepting applications for a Custodian position at the Plover, WI plant. This role performs general custodial and sanitation duties to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. The position supports daily facility upkeep across office areas, restrooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms, hallways, and production-adjacent spaces in accordance with company standards.

 
What you’ll be doing

• Clean office areas, restrooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms, hallways, and windows using approved cleaning agents and tools.
• Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, rug-shampoo machines, and other motor-driven cleaning equipment.
• Collect and remove trash, replace liners, and maintain waste-handling areas.
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings and maintain orderly common spaces.
• Support general factory clean-up, including sanitation tasks and maintaining safe, organized work areas.
• Promote safety and follow all company procedures while performing assigned duties.

 
What you’ll need to be successful

• Ability to work independently with strong initiative, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Moderate mental and manual skill, with care to prevent equipment damage and ensure a safe work environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain consistent work quality.
• Solid teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment preferred but not required.

 
Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying and handling of objects up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Regular standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• High manual dexterity for operating cleaning tools and equipment.
• Sustained physical endurance while working in a fast-paced facility environment.

Compensation Package:  - Starting at 21.03 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
