Job Description

 

Working within the North American product development team and in partnership with the commercial teams, this role will be accountable for technical project management and project execution to contribute to the North American business growth. The role provides technical leadership within project teams, across functions, and with stakeholders. 

 

Core Accountabilities/Outcomes:

  • Developing new products from conception to launch 
  • Developing and managing timelines  
  • Providing technical direction to project teams and aligning with stakeholders for project reviews, technical risk mitigation and project post mortem 
  • Collecting data and reporting on each testing phase in the development process 
  • Presenting formulation options and impacts to gain consensus on next steps 
  • Participating in idea generation sessions in the concept development process 
  • Testing and validating product attributes, shelf life and plant scalability
  • Supporting Change Management of products, specifications, transfers
  • Manage and procure lab supplies and purchasing 

 

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Food Science or related field
  • Experience in Food Industry and/or Product Development is a plus but not mandatory

Compensation Package: $69,700.00 -$93,000.00  USD annually + bonus eligibility 

 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
