Position Title: Control Room Operator
Schedule: 7am – 7pm
Salary: $22.51 per hour

Position Summary:
Responsible for starting, monitoring, and stopping production lines. Setting temperature and level set points as required. Keeps all records of production neat and legible.
Key Responsibilities:
| 1. | Keeps all necessary records for production in a neat and legible manner.
|
| 2. | Keeps constant communication with the operators, supervisors, and other departments to maintain the necessary line flow.

| 3. | Monitors all facility-wide alarms on Control Room computer.
|
| 4. | Responsible for preparing lines for production by filling blanchers, dip tanks, and pumps with water; starting peelers for warm-up cycles; inserts equipment set point (speed and temperatures) into terminals; starts lines, bringing up heat on equipment; starts freezing belts; and monitor lines during warm-up. |
| 5. | Responsible for line control during processing.

| 6. | Starts evenflows and controls speed to maintain adequate line load; monitors all equipment to maintain the temperatures and speed; starts and stops lines during emergency situations.

Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience
Individual must have at least one year processing experience.
Physical Demand:
Constant: required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
Frequently: lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally: required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
