We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of our farming, processing, and sales operations.

 

Job Description
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of Maui Gold Pineapple. This role involves overseeing farming operations, processing facilities, and sales strategies to ensure the highest quality product and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture management, operational efficiency, and sales growth, with a passion for sustainable practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all farming operations, ensuring adherence to best practices in cultivation, harvesting, and sustainability.
  • Manage processing facilities to ensure efficient and high-quality production of pineapple products.
  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and quality.

 

Sales and Marketing:

  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers to promote Maui Gold Pineapple products.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing initiatives.

 

Financial Oversight:

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies for improvement as needed.

 

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of employees across farming, processing, and sales departments.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

 

Compliance and Sustainability:

  • Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, food safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Promote sustainable farming practices and initiatives that align with the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in agricultural management, with a focus on fruit production and processing.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and commitment to ethical farming practices.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
