The Opportunity:
The MRO Supervisor for Heritage will be responsible for the start-up activities associated with the Storeroom. Reporting to the Reliability Leader, this role has overall accountability for the Storeroom. They will ensure the supply of materials from point of purchase to the deployment or use of the material by maintaining accurate inventories in serviceable condition, and will also be responsible for maintaining inventory to ensure service levels and avoid over stocks and implementing and sustaining MRO material management processes.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Purchasing of maintenance related spare parts inventory, consumables and services.
- Follow-up on all delinquent purchase orders with suppliers and research alternate parts and/or suppliers
- Manage spare parts inventory to minimize cycle count deficiencies.
- Manage parts receiving and put away as well as issue out of inventory to work orders
- Provide monthly reports on inventory value, cycle counts and adjustments
- Manage the activities of the Storekeeper
- Provide feedback to Corporate Purchasing on vendor satisfaction levels
- Drive cost reduction activity through spare parts alternate vendor sourcing while maintaining parts reliability.
- Manage BOM's (bill of materials) in CMMS and revising as required with clear indication of critical/non-critical spares
- Develop and execute strategy for the management of repaired spare parts to minimize cost and production impact.
- Shall demonstrate full commitment to the implementation of the requirements of the Global Standard for Food Safety and to processes which facilitate continual improvement of food safety and quality management
What You ll Bring:
- 3-5 years experience in a Purchasing, Inventory, or Maintenance role in manufacturing.
- College Diploma in Purchasing/Inventory Management
- Strong and effective negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with vendors
- Strong knowledge of MRO parts and management of stock rooms
- Ability to quickly learn SAP and associated indirect procurement module
- Excellent professional written and verbal communications skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail while contributing to the success of the team
- Good understanding of food processing and regulatory requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook along with experience using an ERP/MRP computer system
