Job Description
The Opportunity:
The incumbent serves as the front-line contact for visitors and employee questions and concerns and provides administrative support to the Site Leader and the general plant. The incumbent will also provide support to the HR team in the areas of administration, hourly and some salaried recruitment screening, project and event coordination, and data analysis.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Greet incoming guests and new applicants to the facility and administer visitor log
- Provide administrative support to the Site Operations Leader and Senior Leadership Team, including but not limited to meeting planning (Outlook Calendar), expenses, presentations, and meeting preparation
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Manage tracking, planning, and ordering of all plant office supplies
- Process invoices using SRM
- Manage plant phone system issues
- Manage tracking and creation of employee access cards
- Organize plant tours and visits, including but not limited to preparing supplies as needed
- and ordering lunch for staff and visitors as requested
- Promote positive employee relations and goodwill
- Organize staff social and recognition events
- Manage Plant Market employee purchase orders and payroll deductions
- Manage salaried overtime tracking and payment
- Support the recruitment process with screening, setting up interviews and testing
- Support the HR team with administrative functions as needed including SAP inputting
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring:
- Working towards or completion of a post-secondary education program, diploma or degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management
- Strong team player with problem-solving capabilities
- Positive and professional approach with willingness to learn and enjoys challenging oneself
- Ability to get things done within a decentralized environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent computer skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with a passion for accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with HRMS applications including SAP, SRM and Kronos would be an asset
