Technical Project Manager Level 3, Brampton, ON

 

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager L3 to lead our Level 3 Support team. This role is critical to our organization, as it involves guiding the team in prioritizing the backlog of enhancements to our tools and ensuring the Pharmacy Management System remains stable and error-free in production.

 

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and solutions-oriented leader, passionate about continuous improvement and committed to delivering reliable, high-quality systems that support pharmacy operations. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving technical excellence and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

 

You will call on a diverse set of skills for back-end development of our application and to support multiple projects that you will complete with your team.

What You ll Do:

  • Backlog Prioritization and Roadmap Alignment: Own and manage the technical backlog for the Level 3 Team, working closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements based on business impact, urgency, and technical feasibility.
  • Development Oversight: Guide the team in implementing high-quality solutions, ensuring that development efforts are aligned with architectural standards, coding best practices, and release timelines. Act as a technical liaison between support and engineering teams to translate operational needs into actionable development tasks.
  • Production Stability and Incident Management: Ensure the Pharmacy Management System remains stable and resilient in production. Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents, drive permanent fixes, and implement preventive measures to reduce recurrence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with QA, RAD, and infrastructure SRE teams to streamline deployment processes, and implement solutions in production environments.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical direction and mentorship to support engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.

 

What you Bring:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in backend development and system integration, with at least 1 years in a technical leadership role
  • Proven experience supporting and maintaining production-grade enterprise applications
  • Advanced proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API development
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
