Job Description:
The Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing translates divisional strategies into brand strategies at the category or campaign level. This role?drives strategy through to?execution and?serves as a key collaborator with category leaders and counterparts within Loblaw Media?and Loblaw Agency. The Sr. Manager oversees a brand marketing team to drive seamless delivery?of Marketing s most visible and?complex campaigns/programs. They are accountable for the growth of their portfolios, which may include an entire category, or a?collection of critical brand campaigns.
Core Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy:?Translates divisional strategy into objectives and plans for the category/campaign to drive the growth of the?assigned portfolio; makes recommendations for divisional marketing strategy based on category/campaign-level insights?.
- Campaign/Program Strategy: Support the strategy and lead team execution of brand programs for No Frills inclusive of brand campaigns, weekly flyer, promotional events, seasonal moments and vendor programs. Collaborate with business partners and marketing leaders to clearly define campaign KPIs and objectives. Leverage past results and learnings to optimize future campaigns.
- Campaign Planning & Execution:?Leads the execution of marketing campaigns for portfolio, focused on key brand retail channels such as in-store signage, weekly flyer, customer based communications, and paid media and ensures execution aligns?with annual plan objectives; acts as a key point of contact for agency counterparts, and other partners (e.g., Loblaw Media,?Loblaw Digital) for the review and approval of creative?.
- Control Brand Programs:?Manages the No Frills execution of Control Brand programs; Presidents Choice Insider s Report, monthly Presidents Choice programs, and no name campaigns through in-store signage, flyer and owned media in collaboration with the Control Brand marketing team?.
- People Leadership:?Manages team performance against marketing portfolio and campaign objectives and KPIs through?mentorship and professional development?.
- Stakeholder management: communication and collaboration with all business partners, leaders and stakeholders across the organization to deliver business objectives.
- Project Management: Ensure the timely delivery of marketing programs using specific tools and formats involving collaboration with multiple teams.
- Multicultural Marketing: Lead the divisional marketing strategy for multicultural and newcomer marketing. Partner with external agency to develop targeted media plans with relevant and in-language creative.
- Social Media: Working closely with the internal social media team to deliver local social toolkits for franchise Owners and create content for No Frills channels in-line with brand guidelines in a social-first manner.
- Innovation:?Collaborates with external and internal partners such as Loblaw Agency, and Loblaw Media to drive innovative?marketing strategies across paid, earned and owned channels, to drive relevant and best in class campaigns?.

Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience? in brand marketing
- 4-5 years in brand manager role, managing marketing campaigns?
