The Impact You'll Make:

 

As a Senior Analyst on the Business & Customer Insights team, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making for PC Optimum, the largest loyalty program in Canada. This best-in-class program touches millions of Canadians every day. In this role, you will extract actionable insights from PC Optimum data and help build stories with data enabling our stakeholders to make informed strategic decisions that enhance the overall customer experience and drive business growth. You will work closely with data to uncover insights that create meaningful value for our customers.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Apply your analytical expertise to collaborate with a wide range of business stakeholders and support data-informed decision-making. Your work will include both strategic and tactical initiatives, such as reporting, customer targeting, process automation, dashboard development, and the design and evaluation of A/B tests.
  • You will be responsible for extracting, reviewing, and preparing complex operational and customer-behavior data from multiple databases. Your insights will help solve business problems, identify new opportunities, and shape strategic direction.
  • In this role, you will synthesize large volumes of data from diverse sources—including customer transactions, consumer and syndicated research, market share data, and campaign performance—interpreting key findings to deliver clear, value-added recommendations.
  • You will also develop and present materials that effectively communicate insights, simplifying complex information for audiences at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Additionally, you will build and maintain stakeholder-focused dashboards that use data visualization to clearly highlight key trends and insights.

 

 

What You Bring

  • University Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business or other relevant fields
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role translating data into relevant and actionable business insights
  • The ability to define problems, collect and synthesize large amounts of data, form complex queries, establish facts and draw valid and actionable conclusions
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, BigQuery, Looker Studio
  • Basic knowledge of Python, R is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to ensure data accuracy and quality
  • A curious mindset to continually explore new ideas and willingness to ask clarifying questions to navigate ambiguity, while being a strong self-starter
  • Strong communication, critical thinking and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to stay on top of a dynamic and fast-moving business
