We are seeking a bold, business-minded Senior Manager, Product Strategy and Growth to lead the development and execution of our retail media product strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities across our product suite including 1P, 3P, in-store products, and data products and bringing structure, clarity, and prioritization to how we scale. This person will serve as the connective tissue between product development, commercial strategy, and business leadership ensuring that every product initiative is clearly tied to revenue growth, customer value, and long-term competitive advantage. 

 

 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on navigating ambiguity, connecting dots across teams, and relentlessly pursuing high-impact outcomes. You ll work closely with Product, Sales, Ad Ops, Analytics, and senior leadership to shape the future of Loblaw Advance. 

 

 

What You'll Do 

 

Strategic Product Leadership 

  • Collaborate with leads across 1P, 3P, In-store media and Data Products to stitch the end-to-end product strategy for Loblaw Advance, with a clear focus on growth, innovation, and differentiation. 
  • Define and maintain a strategic product roadmap that aligns with commercial goals and corporate vision. 
  • Evaluate product performance and health across channels to determine gaps and opportunities; help teams prioritize features based on larger goals 

 

Growth & Revenue Enablement 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Ad Ops, Intelligence and other cross functional teams to define success metrics and ensure product strategies support revenue goals. 
  • Identify and size new market opportunities or partner-driven expansions. 
  • Prioritize features and product categories based on commercial impact and resource alignment. 

 

Roadmap Ownership & Governance 

  • Act as the gatekeeper of all product roadmaps owning current-year plans and co-creating longer-term (3 5 year) strategic vision with LDML leadership. 
  • Drive roadmap clarity and accountability across cross-functional teams. 

 

Organizational Alignment & Decision-Making 

  • Facilitate cross-functional decision-making on trade-offs, dependencies, and sequencing of product investments. 
  • Partner with Finance to build business cases and revenue forecasts for new initiatives; hold teams accountable to roadmap execution milestones and commercial outcomes. 

 

Executive Collaboration1 

  • Act as a thought partner to the GM and VP-level stakeholders, surfacing risks, opportunities, and strategic gaps early. 
  • Lead structured reviews on product and channel performance with senior stakeholders. 
  • Bring external market intelligence and competitive insights into executive discussions. 

 

Leadership & Culture 

  • Lead and mentor a team of strategists or cross-functional contributors, fostering a high-performance, results-oriented culture. 
  • Promote accountability, transparency, and clarity across teams working on high-priority growth initiatives. 

 

What You ll Bring 

  • 7 10 years of experience in product strategy, corporate strategy, or business planning ideally within media, ad tech, or digital platforms. 
  • Proven success driving product and revenue growth by aligning cross-functional stakeholders around shared objectives. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to simplify complex decisions to present to senior executives and influence C-level decision making. 
  • Deep understanding of ad tech, retail media, or digital monetization models. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with comfort in interpreting performance data and revenue models. 
  • Familiarity with agile product development and tools like JIRA, Confluence, CODA and product road mapping systems. 
  • Hybrid Working Environment - 4/1 (1-day remote)
