The Finance Senior Manager will be the key business partner for the LRE Maintenance team.  Looking for a self-motivated individual that will guide the Facilities Management department with standardized process , initiatives and good practice reporting standards.  The role requires an active participation and identification of process improvements.  Financial reporting and accuracy will be a direct result of these efforts.  The role will create unity of process and execution across the department.

 

What you will do

  • Partner with the Maintenance and business finance leads on all aspects of financial management and reporting, from assisting with budgets, approvals, reporting actuals, forecasting, helping to ensure that financials come in on time and on budget
  • Be the key partner for the facilities management team to turn to for all financial matters
  • Assist the team to develop, map and document processes and key controls, that create and maintain good workflows around budget, scheduling, forecasting, and actuals reporting.
  • Manage the flow of data between OfficeTrax and SAP
  • Liaise with various departments within Loblaw to create synergies
  • Participate in cost savings initiatives
  • Assist in creating the strategic plan for the department.
  • Support ESG initiatives and reporting as it relates to Refrigerant Leak Reporting and Carbon tracking
  • Manage competing priorities and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some travel within Canada will be required

 

What you will bring

  • 5-7 years related external reporting work experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in SAP would be an asset
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Results oriented consistently delivers on time and drives for results; Enthusiastic team player with demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing work environment;
  • Maintain and enhance working relationship with internal teams and external stakeholders.  Ensure timely resolution to disputes.

  • Strong team planer with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with all parties.
