As the Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain you report directly to the VP, Supply Chain Planning and Initiatives and will be responsible for developing and expanding vendor relationships, tracking, and reporting on business development activities, and completing financial and pricing models. You will collaborate with various teams to create appropriate pricing strategies and identify new business opportunities based on data and market research.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Identify areas of opportunity for business development based on internal data and market research
  • Develop new vendor relationships and extend existing relationships to new opportunities
  • Track and report on business development pipeline, leads, follow ups, including negotiations  
  • Complete financial modelling for the initiatives
  • Develop pricing, revenue and profit modelling for customers using our supply chain services
  • Work closely with network, transport, replenishment, and operations teams to develop appropriate pricing models
     

What you will need:

  • Post-secondary education - University or College education in Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years working experience within supply chain, procurement or category would be an asset
  • Enjoy working with customers and finding solutions to customer problems
  • Ability to think through a problem and determine the appropriate solution
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and ability to analyze large data set
  • Experience in putting presentations together for audiences at all levels
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities based on urgency and/or timelines
