President s Choice Children s Charity (PCCC) is a Canadian registered charity committed to helping kids across Canada live the best life they can. We are focused on ensuring children are well-fed and ready to learn and have the skills to grow and cook their own food. The Charity believes healthy food is fundamental to children s wellbeing and addresses childhood hunger by providing proprietary Power Full Kids programs at schools across Canada.

 

About the Opportunity

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organized and solutions-oriented individual with excellent communication skills in both English and French. As a key support to our French and bilingual markets, you will collaborate closely with marketing, fundraising, and programming teams to ensure seamless program delivery and impactful communications. You will be fully immersed in our volunteer program development and execution. You will employ diverse tactics to raise awareness of our achievements and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be joining a collaborative and inclusive team that values diversity, respect, and continuous learning.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
 

Marketing & Communications:

  • Champion the development and execution of multi-channel marketing strategies for the Quebec market, encompassing branding, events, social media, digital marketing, relationship marketing, and online giving.
  • Support the development of bilingual marketing assets across internal and external channels, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing data-driven insights to optimize performance.
  • Craft compelling content that highlights PCCC's impact in French-speaking communities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Develop and manage engaging content for French social media channels, fostering a strong online presence and community engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels, responding to comments, engaging with followers, and sharing relevant content from partner schools.
  • Provide oversight and support for partner-led communication initiatives.
  • Manage the French PCCC email inbox, ensuring timely and organized communication.

 

Fundraising:

  • Support internal and external fundraising campaigns within Quebec, including colleague campaigns.
  • Utilize your administrative and data management skills to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Assist with vendor fundraising strategies and provide donor stewardship reports.
  • Research, identify, and cultivate new sponsorship and donor opportunities.

 

Program Support:

  • Serve as the primary contact for French-speaking partner programs, building strong relationships and ensuring high-quality program delivery.
  • Conduct annual program audits of a designated percentage of French-speaking schools.
  • Collaborate with program specialists to develop program applications, forms, and reports.
  • Review and approve annual program applications from the Quebec market including monitoring partner school engagement with the education program platform as well.

 

Community Engagement:

  • Manage the development and implementation of a colleague volunteer engagement plan.
  • Identify school volunteer opportunities, develop engaging activities and communication plans.
  • Track and report on volunteer engagement KPIs.
  • Support the growth of a colleague ambassador network through regular communication, content creation, and relationship building.
  • Foster community relationships between stores and schools in French markets, identifying new partnership and engagement opportunities.

 

Other:

  • This position requires quarterly travel to Quebec, with the potential for increased frequency.
  • Light to medium lifting may be required (up to approx.30-50 lbs)
  • Other tasks as required.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • University or college degree in business, communications, community engagement, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications and program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage diverse projects simultaneously, meet deadline and maintain brand and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint and social media platforms
  • Experience with storytelling and/or charitable programs an asset
