General Summary

Supply Chain (SC) FP&A is a dynamic, fast pace team responsible for driving divisional consolidation of periodic forecast, annual budget process and 3-Year Strategic Financial Plan. We deliver value-added business analysis as well as define and report on meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead to insightful, accurate business decision-making

 

Manager, SC FP&A role will provide the candidate with opportunities to drive forecasting optimization, ad-hoc analysis on the key business drivers and opportunities for our division.

 

Role Accountabilities:

  • Manage the build and tracking of forecasts and budgets with focus on both, Merchandising and Ops plans
  • Consolidate large amounts of complex information into simple and easy to understand reports
  • Analyze weekly and periodic results to identify emerging trends and opportunities
  • Prepare divisional presentations pertaining to period results, forecasts and budgets
  • Develop, enhance and implement financial models that consider multiple drivers
  • Lead interpretation and analysis of key drivers affecting the SC Operations
  • Produce and present summaries of results or analyses
  • Liaise with other functional areas within the organization to co-ordinate cross-functional analyses and data accumulation
  • Ad hoc projects and analyses

 

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or greater (e.g. Business, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, etc.);
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or working towards the designation;
  • 3-5 years related planning and forecasting work experience;
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proven capability to drive insights from data and analytics;
  • Ability to self-organize multiple tasks well and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Willingness to work well in a fast-paced team environment;
  • Ability to “think outside the box”.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to leverage resources (people, processes, departments, tools) to complete objectives effectively and efficiently;
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments and build strong working relationships.
