  • Define and own the SRE vision and roadmap for in-store technology platforms, ensuring scalability, uptime, and performance across thousands of endpoints.
  • Partner with retail IT, application engineering, and store operations teams to understand the nuances of in-store technologies and develop strategies for resilient systems.
  • Establish and maintain SLOs/SLAs, error budgets, and incident response processes across all production systems.
  • Implement and improve observability practices (monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing) for both central systems and edge/retail endpoints.
  • Drive adoption of automation and DevOps practices to reduce manual toil, improve deployment velocity, and maintain infrastructure-as-code at store scale.
  • Lead postmortems and continuous improvement processes after incidents, with a focus on long-term reliability.
  • Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning for store infrastructure and critical services.
  • Champion security, compliance, and privacy best practices in partnership with security and privacy teams.

What you Bring

  • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity and 5-7 years in leadership capacity (Sr. Manager, Team lead).

  • Strong background in Linux and windows systems, networking, and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, openTelemetry).
  • Track record of building high-availability systems and delivering measurable improvements in uptime and performance.
  • Familiarity with store technologies such as POS systems, edge computing platforms, or pharmacy software.
