About the Role:
The Landus Operations Management Intern will gain hands-on experience learning how Landus locations run on a day-to-day basis and what it takes to lead and manage operational teams. This internship is designed for students interested in agricultural operations, management, and leadership development. Over the summer, interns will rotate through key responsibilities and projects that provide exposure to:
- Location Operations – Understanding workflow, grain handling, agronomy services, and fuel/energy logistics.
- Leadership & People Management – Learning how to lead, motivate, and support operational teams.
- Business Management – Exposure to budgets, P&L (profit and loss) responsibilities, and the decision-making processes that drive operational success.
- Safety & Compliance – Gaining insight into the importance of safety protocols, regulations, and risk management in cooperative operations.

What will you do:
- Shadow location managers and supervisors to understand daily operations.
- Assist with scheduling, team communication, and operational planning.
- Participate in inventory management, grain flow, agronomy logistics, and other location processes.
- Learn how managers approach P&L statements, budgeting, and financial decision-making.
- Support safety initiatives and compliance processes.
- Complete a capstone project that highlights an operational improvement or leadership learning.
- Build leadership skills through mentorship, hands-on practice, and exposure to real management challenges.
Program Details:
- Internship Dates: May 26 – August 10, 2026
- Paid internships with competitive compensation.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Students pursuing a degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Studies, Business Management, or related field.
- Strong interest in operations, leadership, and management in an agricultural setting.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership potential.
