Kennco Mfg., Inc. is a 53-year-old privately held company that manufactures farming equipment for Specialty Crops and Row Crop farmers throughout the world.  We sell direct to the growers and build all equipment at our facility.  Kennco is located in Ruskin, Fl. which is located right off of I-75 about 30 minutes from North Tampa, St. Petersburg, and South Bradenton/Sarasota.

About the Role
Account Managers at Kennco deal directly with the end user to design equipment for their needs.  Our customers are located all over the world, therefor much of the work is done in our office and over the phone consulting with the growers.  Account Managers must understand the unique challenges and needs of our growers and provide solutions and offerings of our full line of equipment, many of which are customizable for each different application.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The base salary for this position ranges from $55K-$75K based on experience with customer base and skills.  Plus commission on sales.
• Also includes paid time off, 401K with matching, health insurance, dental and vision insurance.

What will you do?

• Consult with customers to determine their needs and quote them the correct equipment for their operation.
• Cold Call customers
• Build and maintain exisiting relationships
• Write up orders for the needed equipment
• Follow the equipment through the production process and inspect at completion to ensure it meets all specs
• Help trouble shoot issues and answer questions over the phone.
• Make farm visits occasionally to look at equipment with customer
• Attend tradeshows and networking events
• Become a subject matter expert in the Plasticulture Farming Industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Ag Science or Ag Engineer helpful
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of farm equipment or large machinery necessary
• Friendly and personable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Past Sales experience with cold calling and account management
• Past Experience with meeting sales quotas
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Must past preemployement drug screen with no exception for medical marijuana.

This position is full time and will work on site at Kennco.
