Description/Purpose: The Business Operations Internship will provide opportunities and experiences for KanEquip's future leaders to learn and grow as they gain exposure to the agriculture equipment industry. Interns will gain skills and confidence in the day-to-day operations of a KanEquip dealership.
Learning Objectives/Responsibilities/Duties/Projects: An understanding of the relationship between Parts, Service, Sales, and Precision Ag will be the primary focus of this internship. Interns will receive coaching on KanEquip's culture, customers service and visit multiple KanEquip dealerships. Impactful projects will be assigned and showcased to gain an understanding of KanEquip's mission and vision. Interns will add value to KanEquip by assisting team members with meeting customer needs. Interns will also enjoy events to network with KanEquip's stakeholders.
This is a 12-week summer internship with an additional opportunity for qualifying candidates to extend for an additional 9-month internship to develop their skills in leadership, developing and motivating others.
Education/Experiences: The qualified candidates will have completed at least 2 years of college course work (48 hours), 3 years preferred and significant exposure to the Midwest agriculture industry.
Required Skills/Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with team members at all levels of the organization. Desire to professionally lead, develop and motivate others. Solid problem-solving skills.
This will be a paid internship with all required travel expenses paid. Housing options are available.
