Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our Turf and Landscape Fertilizer Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the turf, landscape and agriculture industry, strong sales acumen, and a proven ability to build and manage a robust client portfolio. This role is focused on expanding our market share by developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing accounts in the turf, landscape and agricultural sector.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the turf and landscape markets, including: private label manufacturing space, turf supply companies, golf courses, sports fields, landscaping companies, agricultural outfits and municipalities.
  • Build and maintain a strong portfolio of clients through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and exceptional customer service.
  • Present and promote our fertilizer products, highlighting their benefits and aligning solutions with client needs.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Provide market feedback to improve product offerings and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the turf, landscape, or agricultural industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building a client portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of turf management, landscaping, or fertilizer products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
