In addition to our ag offerings, our retail store supports the local community with pet care products, lawn care essentials, hobby farm supplies, and bird food items.

 

Position Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Feed, Seed, Organizational Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our feed and seed division. This role is essential to keeping our inventory organized, our team supported, and our customers satisfied. In addition to managing feed and seed operations, this role will oversee the Retail Store Manager and Warehouse Manager, ensuring smooth coordination across all departments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels for feed and seed products
  • Coordinate ordering, receiving, and stocking of agricultural inputs
  • Create pricing structures and maintain margins
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage purchase orders
  • Support sales staff with product logistics and customer service
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Lead and train team members as needed
  • Monitor seasonal demand and adjust inventory accordingly
  • Use software systems to track inventory, sales, and reporting
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic plans for seasonal and long-term growth
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

 

Qualifications

  • 4-5+ years in agricultural retail management and purchasing, or related industry
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic accounting
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in agriculture, agribusiness, or related field
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Supervisory experience in a retail or warehouse setting
