We currently have a Human Resources Manager position available at our Food Group Plant in Grand Forks, ND. Grand Forks is a small community built on education, sports, family, agriculture, and the outdoors.
SUMMARY The HR Manager is both a strategic partner while balancing a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources to our manufacturing site. This is a critical role within the site Leadership Team in executing our people initiatives, ensuring HR delivers internal customer support, while excelling at process improvements and HR functional excellence. Develops and directs implementation of plans and/or programs to insure the most effective utilization of human resources to support unit objectives. This must be accomplished within the frame work of the organization's overall corporate policies, plans, and programs. This plan typically does not have policy development but involves the administration of existing programs. Individuals in these positions receive support and direction from Group and Corporate HR functions.
RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to understand business goals and recommend new approaches that effect improvements in business objectives, productivity and people development within the company. The ability to create a vision and goals for a HR Team and inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence in terms of customer support and core HR processes. Seeking a true hands-on leader as well as the ability to successfully monitor the pulse' of the employees to ensure high employee engagement. Passion for providing innovative HR solutions and process improvement. Strong project management skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution and achievement of the right resultsDemonstrated success in creating and driving effective and positive employee relations, retention and reward programs.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsEnsures compliance with State and Federal regulations in the areas of EEO, AA, workers' comp, unemployment benefits, etc.Implements the total compensation program for hourly positions, to include wage surveys, job comparisons within and between classifications, pay at risk, and annual adjustments.Provides consistent understanding and adherence to policies, guidelines, and programs.Develops, communicates and enforces location specific guidelines, rules and procedures.
