We’re growing our IT team and looking for a versatile, technically skilled IT professional who thrives on solving diverse infrastructure and support challenges.

What You’ll Do?
Deliver remote IT support via phone, email, and remote access tools from our Okotoks office
Troubleshoot, install, and maintain a wide range of IT systems, including:

  • Windows PCs and servers
  • Network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Wireless systems (Ubiquiti), access points, and mobile hardware
  • Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP configuration
  • Adapt to unique client environments where infrastructure varies—using creativity and experience to resolve issues efficiently
  • Document support processes, update knowledge bases, and train users as needed
  • Configure and install industry-specific hardware (e.g., RFID readers, livestock scales)—including physical setup, mounting, and cable runs (we’ll train you)
  • Occasionally travel to client sites (approx. 5% of the time), with overnight stays being rare. Vehicle provided for travel to client sites.

 

Your Technical Toolkit
Core Experience:

  • 3+ years in a multi-disciplinary IT role (MSP or small enterprise preferred)
  • Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent combination of experience and certifications


Your Skills Should Include:

  • Windows OS and Server administration (2016–2022)
  • Active Directory, Microsoft 365 management, and Exchange
  • Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VPNs, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls
  • Wireless networking—especially Ubiquiti Unifi
  • Remote support and ticketing systems
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting across diverse tech stacks
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing support skills
  • Strong time management and ability to juggle priorities independently
  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License and clean driving record

 

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Microsoft SQL Server exposure
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell or others)
  • Interest in supporting agriculture-specific technology
