U.S. Agribusiness HR Review – Ninety-one percent of agribusinesses increased salaries during the last 12 months and 43% had an average increase of 2.6-3%.  More than half of companies said all staff would receive a raise within the next year.  The full Agribusiness HR Review documents emerging industry trends and developments on a range of human resource management practices, including employee attrition, workforce trends, development, flexible staffing, bonus and incentive schemes, benefits, recruitment practices and employer branding strategies.

The following percentages according to role type have received this raise:  39% Executive, 47% Middle Management, 40% Sales Staff, 57% Salary/Exempt, 54% Hourly/Non-Exempt.  57% said all staff would receive a raise within the next 12 months.  41% said some staff would receive a raise within the next 12 months.  92% of salary increases were given on behalf of merit or performance.  But what about next year?  47% said that they have budgeted between 3.1 – 3.5% salary increases for the next financial year.
