Job Title: Seed Sales and Relationship Manager

Department: Sales

Reporting to: National Sales Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Seed Sales

• Drive business growth in “Zone 3 – Western Ontario” to meet financial targets
• Generate Dealer business plans in conjunction with current and future Horizon Dealers
• Over see regional business expansion and generate sales opportunities
• Manage seed orders and oversee dealerships in the territory
• Assist with reconciliation and payment procurement

Marketing

• Responsible for overseeing marketing opportunities in the zone such as smaller trade show, example Woodstock Dairy Symposium as well as assisting in larger efforts in zone such as Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show.
• Distribution of seed guides, sell sheets, variety information etc.
• Manage social media and giveaway items in zone and assist where possible with other regions.

Plots and Data Generation

• Manage the zone plot program for corn and soybeans
• Assist dealers in planting and harvest where required
• Capture plot data for marketing and sales support

Preferred Attributes

• Ability to generate strong relationships with Horizon Dealerships
• Skill in prioritizing tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong familiarity with corn and soybean cropping techniques
• Minimum 5 years Agricultural Sales Experience
