We are currently seeking 7 self-motivated individuals interested in a 2025 Summer Internship to gain experience, leadership skills and hands-on training. These positions are available at our Ailsa Craig, Drayton, Hensall, Mitchell, and Exeter locations.

Job Duties

• Assist in the distribution of seed including communicating with customers, ensuring accuracy of shipments, taking payments, providing directions to delivery drivers, and maintaining accurate and up to date information.
• Understanding agronomic tasks in accordance with Certified Crop Advisor Exam including weed, insect and disease identification, field scouting techniques and in field scouting.
• Providing solutions in accordance with CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) guidelines.
• Field signing to support Hensall Co-op’s marketing initiatives.
• Assist with inventory tasks including counts and recounts.
• Promoting new product innovations.
• Work closely with Location Managers and Operations Team to focus on continuous improvements and attend all scheduled operations meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Wage rate will remain flexible based on previous experience/education.

Individual must be flexible to work in an office environment as well as performing tasks indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions.

The successful candidate will have a background in agriculture, strong communication, presentation, and technical skills and will be task oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate would be working towards a degree or diploma in Agriculture or possesses equivalent previous experience.
